Branick Consulting is a small consulting firm specializing in the PowerBuilder, EAServer, Java, .NET application development. Larry Cermak is the president of the company and has over 28 years industry experience, including working with PowerBuilder since version 2. He has helped more than 100 clients move PowerBuilder applications to the Web.  He has written for the Sybase Developer Network and the PowerBuilder Developer Journal and is a frequent speaker at conferences and user groups across the country.  Larry authored the first book on Web DataWindows and was a contributing author on PowerBuilder 9 - Internet and Distributed Application Development.  In addition he has created Computer Based Training courses based on his industry experience.

Larry is the foremost authority on Web DataWindow technology and has been working with the technology since it was first introduced during the PowerBuilder 7 beta. He has trained and mentored clients all over the country on moving PowerBuilder applications to the Web with this technology.  He has also worked with Sybase engineering team to introduce new features to the Web DataWindow. PowerBuilder has been and continues to be a tremendous development tool.  The new features in version 12, especially the integration with Visual Studio, are very impressive.  While we have no intention of abandoning PowerBuilder and still have active customers using it, we are focusing efforts on .NET development.  We have been switching our focus to concentrate on .NET technologies to be able to provide our customers with insight to the direction of these products. ASP .NET and Silverlight is where we have decided to place our emphasis. We do both VB and C# coding. Our entire web site, including the customer access section, was created with C# .NET.
